Taxis

Glasgow Airport taxis are available 24 hours a day to any destination and any distance. Taxi drivers are obliged to meter the entire journey and publish their scale of charges.

Prices for longer journeys may be negotiated with the driver. The fare from Glasgow Airport to Glasgow city centre is approximately £18 – £20, depending on traffic.

Where to find taxis

The taxi rank is at the front of the terminal building. Only taxis licensed by Renfrewshire Council may pick up from the rank.

Other taxis are permitted to use the pick-up/drop-off zone, on the ground floor of Car Park 2. However, drivers may not park in this area and must leave within 10 minutes. Arriving passengers should therefore always arrange a pick-up time with the taxi driver and inform him/her if the flight is late.

Complaints

If you have any reason for complaint, please quote the driver's taxi permit plate or vehicle registration number to our customer service team on +44 (0)870 040 0008 as soon as possible.
